Summer Camps 2011

Daniel and Florin got to camp this year! If you saw our Summer camp brochure in the Challenge Weekly, or picked one up from your church, you will have read about these two half-brothers and their difficult lives. (If you want to know more, click here.) But at camp, they had the time of their lives - because supporters like you helped them get there! Thank you very much!

We know children who live near the coast who have never seen the sea let alone taken a holiday with their family!! Summer camps run in all of our field countries. Children from our CRI child sponsorship and Family to Family programmes are offered the opportunity to attend - along with other disadvantaged children that we or partner churches and organisations have contact with.

 Children get to enjoy 10 days or so of fun, good food, games, Bible stories and songs, and the care of trained volunteer caregivers. For most (if not all!) it is a life-changing experience. Like little Florin in the video, they all want to come back the following year!
